Crystal

Crystal is a Bare-Eyed cockatoo who recently came to live at the Refuge after her medical care became too much for her previous family to handle. Crystal has a ruptured air sac which constantly fills up with air and needs to be drained on a daily basis. Since coming to live at the rescue, she's had a minor surgery in which a suture was put into place to help the air sac drain on its own. Crystal has fit in very well at the Refuge and has made a lot of friends in her short time here.

Our Mission is Simple

To work in joint cooperation with all avian rescue groups to try and eliminate the need for rescue groups by educating the public about aviculture issues. Until that is accomplished, we will provide a sanctuary for those unfortunate parrots that are in need of a home.
